This weekend Poshfest is celebrating their sixth annual seller celebration in Dallas, Texas. I could not attend this year, but was fortunate that is was held in Chicago last year. I attended and was so overwhelmed with information, that I never posted about it, just got to work.
In 2017 the prevailing theme I carried away from the fest was "You do you, Bo" and "Level up." And although I'm pathetically still in the process of learning "do me," I did take advantage of the opportunity to level up. That's when the luxe denim entered our store, and what a journey that turned out to be!

Here are some pics from last years Poshfest. I'll be there next year, don't want to miss another! See the entire album on their FB page, HERE.
Since going natural, my hair is showing more signs of being salt and pepper (in back) but still contains a large splash of the golden blond that I've worn since high school. Have you considered what happens when your hair color changes in the middle of your favorite fashion season? In this case, fall fashion?
Well, it means that the warm shades of brown, tan, and camel just don't look the same as they used to, because I had been clinging to a color and style no longer suited for my life style.
So, when packing recently for a trip, I attempted to fill my suitcase with new colors in shades of gray, denim, and ruby red. I'd have to say the new colors are proving to be more complimentary that I'd every anticipated. This pic was snapped by my husband as we waited for a crossing parade. The oversize black glasses were a fun balance for my now very short hair and the colors complimented my skin tone well.
Finding the right shade to compliment your skin and hair can do more to elevate confidence than any of the latest trends.
Shop your own closet first for colors that compliment, then consider adding more as you build your own collection. Many resale shops divide their tops by color to get you started.
Whether a young woman on the go or aging graceless like me, we would love to support you on your color journey. Hashtag us at #recklessresale if posting pics of your fall fashion color story, we love to support creatives of any style!
Oh, and all those colors I can no longer wear? They are for sale this season in our Poshshop along with many other pretty warm colors to compliment this season.

Thank you to my Co-Hosts for a lovely evening of Networking! I learned about a quick method to push sales and when tested, I did increase sales by double! I am going to continue testing this method and will post its technique when assured that it is worthy of endorsement!
I oversaw sharing photography techniques; we even had a bit of time to do some styling and photographing!
Thank you to all Poshers who attended! I appreciate the amount of time and drive it took some to attend! I hope to see you all at PoshFest!

Poshmark encourages it's users to become social and create community to promote selling on their App. Through this medium, I've come into an opportunity to network with four fellow Poshers at an upcoming event, aptly named, Posh-N-Sip.
Sipping wine and nibbling on artfully paired appetizers, we plan to network and learn from each others strong suits. We have women sharing how to succeed even with a busy "mom life," the importance of "Sharing" (important in all walks of life, but doubly on Poshmark), and many other Posh themes. Most of all we look forward strengthening relationships and succeeding together!
If you live in the Chicago area and would like to connect with us, contact me through the Listing in my Closet! Hope to see you there!
